1992 Fantastica Barbie Limited Edition

This is a hard to find Limited Edition Fantastica Barbie doll.  She was issued in 1992 and her stock number is 3196.

In her beautiful dress for the grand fiesta, Barbie looks just like one of the Tapatia dancers of Mexico.  The white cotton dress has short, puffed sleeves and a long full skirt.  The neckline is trimmed with delicate white lace and a broad band of floral ribbon runs down the front.  Tiny bands of red and chartreuse ribbon adorn her cuffs and the skirt.  An additional band of floral ribbon runs around the bottom of the skirt just above a wide, lace trimmed white ruffle.  One side of the skirt is attached to her right wrist and a lacy petticoat peeks from underneath.  Her long dark hair is worn pulled back from her face and flows down her back.  A crown of red fabric rosettes and green ribbon hold her hair in place.  Elaborate, oversize golden earrings, a red ??coral?? bead necklace and tiny ring are her only jewelry.  She comes with a  large white handkerchief with red topstitching.

She is Mint in her box althought the Plastic on the box has yellowed from age.  There is a crack in the front plastic of the box, and a small tear on the top of the box.  Other then that she has never been removed from her box.
